Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Please help us help you this winter
Our services are under significant pressure and we are currently dealing with high numbers of patients with respiratory illnesses.
We’re working hard to ensure we can treat those who need us most, you can also help us by:
- Staying safe from winter illnesses and preventing the spread of them by not visiting our hospitals if you have symptoms of respiratory infections or diarrhoea and vomiting, and by getting your flu and COVID-19 vaccination if you’re eligible.
- Choosing the right healthcare service for your needs so our EDs are available for urgent, life-threatening conditions. If you aren’t sure where to go call 111 or visit 111 online.
- Helping to get loved ones home as soon as they are medically fit so they can recover and rehabilitate better in the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Get the care you need
Choosing the right service when you are unwell or injured helps you to get the care you need as soon as possible.
It also reduces pressure on emergency services, freeing them up to help those who need it most.
