The study, REDEFINE 3, is looking at a combination of two medicines. REDEFINE 3 is needed to help us understand how effective these two medicines are for reducing cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and stroke. E.mbrace; Investigational research study at the PRC: Exeter

The PRC Exeter (Based on the Wonford site at the Royal Devon) are currently looking for participants for a clinical research study to assess the effectiveness and safety of an investigational vaccine in the prevention of bloodstream infections. 

People aged 60 years or older with a history of urinary tract infection (UTI) are at an increased risk of developing a bloodstream infection caused by E. coli bacteria.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are 60 years of age or older
  • Have had a UTI in the past 2 years
  • Feel comfortable, or have a caregiver who is comfortable, using an application on a smartphone
