As the lifeblood of the Royal Devon, our support teams are vital for making sure our clinical areas are clean, safe and comfortable for staff and patients alike.
Behind the scenes, you’ll be using your skills to make sure everything works like clockwork – whether that’s helping a patient access a vital scan, running maintenance checks on electrical systems or sprucing up a waiting area to make visitors feel relaxed whilst waiting for treatment.
Support roles
The glue that holds the Royal Devon together, our support roles are crucial for the day-to-day functioning of our Trust.
Compassionate and hardworking, our porters and drivers move crucial goods to where they are needed most and make sure that patients are in the right place at the right time. Meanwhile, Health and Safety Officers, Fire Safety Officers and Security staff keep our environment safe, helped by our elite team of cleaners and our stores/distribution teams.
