Clinical Decision-Making Tools
What are Clinical Decision-Making Tools?
Clinical decision-making tools, also known as point-of-care tools, are digital resources designed to assist healthcare professionals in making informed clinical decisions at the time of patient care.
These tools provide quick access to evidence-based information, guidelines, and algorithms that can enhance the quality of care.
The Trust has access to the following Clinical decision-making tools: UpToDate, BMJ Best Practice, and BNF/BNFC.
Some of these subscription resources are available password-free on Trust devices, otherwise they will require your OpenAthens account for access.
