Library Services - Northern
The Knowledge and Library Service for the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust – Northern are based at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple.
We’re here to support the information needs of all Trust staff, students, apprentices, Devon Partnership Trust, as well as health and social care staff working within across the whole of North Devon.

Staffed hours and out of hours access
We have library staff on site 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays
The main library can be accessed outside staffed hours 24/7 with a Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust ID badge for swipe card access.
If you work in the community and/or don’t currently use your RDUH staff ID to access anywhere in North Devon District Hospital, you may have to get your staff ID enabled for library access by the Facilities Department.
The Facilities Department is open Monday – Friday 7.30am-4.30pm and is based at NDDH.
