The Diagnostic Cytology team at Royal Devon have received a Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) Achievement Award.

he team were recognised for their biomedical scientist-led Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) service to support upper Gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopic ultrasound, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and head and neck clinics at RD&E. The ROSE service has been so successful, it’s been extended to NDDH.

RCPath Achievement Awards are given out annually to teams who demonstrate excellence in pathology practice, and promote high standards in pathology education, training and research to deliver the best patient care.
