The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is offering interviews “on the spot” to impressive candidates who attend their recruitment event in Okehampton on Saturday 29 October.
Those who attend the events will be able to meet different teams and learn about the roles available and the benefits of working at the Royal Devon, including career development and progression. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Positions available on the day include urgent response workers, registered nurses, physiotherapists and a community nursing administrator.
Tracey Reeves, Director of Nursing – Eastern services for the Royal Devon, said: “We’re really looking forward to sharing with people what it is like to be part of the Royal Devon team. All of the roles available come with learning and development opportunities, and a great benefits package including fantastic holiday entitlements and NHS discounts.”
Karen Jones, registered nurse in our community team shared “The thing I love most about working with patients in the community is that you never know what you’re going to walk into! There’s always something new to learn, and the experiences you get are so varied. The time I spend getting to know my patients in a more holistic and personal way has proven invaluable to me. You get to understand what’s important to them and while you are with them, they are your soul focus. I have time to listen and they are always so grateful of that.”
The recruitment event in Okehampton takes place on Saturday 29 October, 9am-1pm, Okehampton Community Hospital, Cavell Way, Okehampton EX20 1PN. No need to register, just bring your CV with you. If attendees would like to have a pre-booked interview time, please apply for the relevant roles via the Royal Devon Career Gateway:
