Doris Heard Ward
There are currently 16 medical inpatient beds at the hospital in the Doris Heard Ward.
Minor Injuries Unit (MIU)
There is also a Minor Injuries Unit (MIU), for injuries that do not require A&E attention (such as sprains, strains, burns, bites, wounds, breaks, aches or pains), an X-ray department and Day Surgery Unit (DSU).
Other services
In addition, a range of services and clinics are provided which enable people to be cared for closer to home and in their own community.
The services are mainly provided by the Royal Devon and a number of other providers.
The hospital is fully wheelchair accessible.
League of Friends
Exmouth League of Friends, raises money to spend on all aspects of comfort and care for the hospital and its community.
