If you see the AccessAble picture on our website, you can click on the links. It will take you to the AccessAble website, where you can find easy information about how to get around that place.

The Royal Devon is one of many NHS organisations that works with AccessAble. AccessAble helps people by giving detailed information about buildings, especially for those who might need extra help getting around. We want everyone to be able to use our services easily, so we asked AccessAble to visit our sites and tell us what they are like.

AccessAble doesn’t just say things like “wheelchair friendly”. Their team visits each building and checks things carefully. They look at how you get inside, and what you’ll find once you’re in. They think about different needs—like using a wheelchair, having autism, or needing clear signs.

They explain everything in simple, easy-to-understand language. There are also photos, quick summaries, and easy‑read versions to help you know what to expect before you visit.

You can find direct links to each site’s AccessAble guide in the Our sites section.
