Choosing a different provider

Choosing a different provider

You can make a number of choices about your NHS care. This is part of the NHS Constitution.

For an outpatient appointment, you can decide which NHS organisation will provide your care. We may have received your referral due to being your local provider. You can choose a different provider if you wish.

If you would like to ask for a transfer, please call or email us using the contact details on your referral letter. You will need to tell us who you would like to transfer to. The NHS will keep track of how long you’ve waited.
