Face to face appointments
On the day
Bring your appointment letter with you to your appointment.
When you arrive, go to the department named in the appointment details and check in with the receptionist or use one of our self-check-in kiosks.
Please tell us if you have changed your name, address or your GP. We need to update our records so that we can contact you or your GP if necessary.
We may ask you to arrive earlier than your appointment time if you have to have any diagnostic tests before you see your clinician.
How long will it take?
Please allow 1-3 hours for your appointment. You may need to go for further tests, so you may need to allow for a whole morning or afternoon.
Patients are seen in order of appointment time, rather than in order of arrival to the clinic.
We do our best to run the clinics smoothly and to see you on time, but please accept our apologies if there is a wait. Any delays to clinics should be displayed in our waiting areas. If you have waited longer than 20 minutes in the waiting area, please speak with the receptionist or member of the nursing team.
