Bowel and Bladder service - adults

We are a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses and Physiotherapists who assess and treat a variety of complex bladder, bowel and pelvic floor problems.

The service also provides education, support and advice to other healthcare professionals.

The service is also responsible for the pad service for Devon.

Housebound patients with Bladder and Bowel problems will have their needs assessed by the Community Nursing Team from your local surgery, and all mobile patients are seen in our clinics.

Where to find us

Your healthcare professional will advise where your appointment will take place. Your appointment may take place at one of our outpatient clinics situated within our main hospital sites or within the community.

Before you come to a bladder and bowel appointment

You will be sent a bladder and bowel diary to be completed prior to your appointment. Please complete the diary following the guidance and return it to us once you have done so. When we have received your completed diary we will send you a letter inviting you to phone in to make your first appointment.
