FORCE cancer charity

FORCE offers free personalised emotional and practical support for anyone whose life is affected by cancer.

We offer support by phone, video call, email or face-to-face appointment. You don’t need a referral, so please feel free to contact us on 01392 406151 or e-mail support@forcecancercharity.co.uk. You can drop in to see us at our Support Centre in the grounds of the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital and we also operate our outreach centres at locations across Devon, including in Ottery St Mary and Okehampton.

We offer

• Information and advice from our team of nurses and information advisors
• Group education and support including the ‘Moving Forward after Treatment’ programme, the ‘Living with Non-Curative Cancer’ programme and retreat days, mindfulness, an arts group, yoga and pilates
• Counselling and Clinical Psychology
• Complementary Therapies
• Personalised physiotherapy assessments and advice on keeping active
• Practical sessions through our partners on managing the side-effects that can arise through cancer treatments eg wigs, skincare and make-up advice
• A range of online videos and electronic resources via our website
