Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital Services – Parking and Travel Options

If you are planning to drive yourself to the hospital, please check with your Clinical Nurse Specialist or your treatment nurse whether you will be fit and safe enough to drive yourself home afterwards. If you are undergoing Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy please ask reception if you are eligible for a parking permit for your appointment
For those attending for regular treatment, please give the reception staff your vehicle registration number and vehicle details and they will add your vehicle to the exemption list.
Patient transport
Some patients will be unable to travel by public transport or have access to a car. Community transport and voluntary car schemes are available. Details can be found at FORCE, ELF or www.tfyc.org.uk
Patients on benefits are able to claim travel/ parking costs by keeping all fuel receipts and presenting them at the RDE General Office which is located in the main concourse of the hospital. Proof of benefit received will be required.
North Devon District Hospital Services – Parking and Travel Options
Our site page for The North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) is our district general hospital in Barnstaple. We offer emergency and urgent care for people in North Devon and the surrounding areas.
This includes our emergency department, intensive care unit (ICU), women and children’s services and diagnostics as well as many outpatient clinics and specialist services.
