Orthotics

Orthotics is a term used to describe the equipment we supply to help people who have musculoskeletal problems. The musculoskeletal system includes bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves - all the things that help your body to move.

An orthotist is a specialist healthcare professional responsible for the prescription, manufacture and management of these orthotic devices.

Information and about us

Our orthotic service supplies and repairs special devices and footwear applied directly to the body to support, correct and compensate for physical weakness. The team specialises in paediatric, spinal and diabetic care.

Orthotics can include prescription insoles, braces, splints, callipers, footwear, spinal jackets and helmets. Having this type of equipment fitted can help people recover from or avoid injury, or live with lifelong conditions.

We aim to keep you as mobile as possible, reduce pain and improve your quality of life. Our team will assess you to work out what equipment you will need before fitting your device. We also maintain and repair orthotic devices.
