Who we are and where to find us
Welcome to the rheumatology department. We provide high-quality care to patients with connective tissue diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and many more.
Rheumatology nurse telephone advice line
This service is designed to offer advice and guidance to patients under the care of the Eastern services Rheumatology department. Our aim is to help you self-manage your Rheumatological conditions whenever possible through telephone provision of specialist information and support. This support includes advice on disease management, administration of medication, side effects and flare management.
The advice line is open Monday to Friday between 10am and 12pm and between 2pm and 4pm when a member of our admin team can take relevant details and direct your question to the rheumatology team. You may then be booked into a telephone clinic slot with one of our specialist nurses to call you back at a later time.
Please note that this is not an emergency service.
