Surgery and theatres

Royal Devon has two extensive Theatre departments that carry out planned and emergency surgery for a number of different specialities. This includes colorectal, vascular, general and many other types of surgery.

Both acute hospitals have a number of theatres based in different departments, and some of our community hospitals also have theatre suites for certain specialities.
