Help us to stop the spread
Please help us to help you and your loved ones by not visiting if you are showing any symptoms of respiratory diseases (including COVID-19 and flu) or any other infections like norovirus (such as diarrhoea and vomiting).
If you have an outpatient appointment and have symptoms of a virus, please call the number at the top of your letter to postpone your appointment.
Although it is not mandatory to wear masks we continue to have masks available for those who wish to wear them and would encourage people to use them across our sites.
If you do need to use our urgent care services, please follow the infection prevention and control guidance in place at our hospitals and please let our clinical teams know if you are experiencing any symptoms of diarrhoea or vomiting, COVID-19 or cold or flu-like illness.
COVID-19 autumn boosters, for eligible groups, can be booked through the National Booking Service or by calling 119 if you are unable to use the online service.
For more details about our visiting information, click here.
Choosing the right service when you are unwell or injured helps you to get the care you need as soon as possible.
It also reduces pressure on emergency services, freeing them up to help those who need it most.
The information and advice here is aimed at helping you manage your wait so you arrive for your appointment in the best possible physical and mental health. There is also information about what we are doing to see you as quickly as possible.
Our COVID-19 vaccination centres are now seeing eligible patients on both an appointment and walk in basis.
Check if you are in an eligible group here.
Please see our COVID-19 vaccination centre pages for more information and clinic details.
