Here you can learn more about our maternity services. We have helpful information, contact details, and advice for every stage of your pregnancy journey.

Where we are:

• Northern Services are based at North Devon District Hospital and in nearby towns.

• Eastern Services are based at the Wonford site in Exeter. This site has a Birth Centre and helps families in Exeter, East Devon, and nearby areas.

• There is also a Midwife-led Birth Centre in Tiverton.

How we care for you:

We give care that puts your family first. Our team is friendly and skilled, and we will help you have a safe and special experience during your pregnancy and your baby’s birth. We are here to support you every step of the way — before, during, and after your baby is born.

Maternity Triage

If you have any urgent health concerns, think you are in labour, or are worried about your baby’s movements, please contact us at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We provide emergency care and advice to families, midwives and GPs in all areas of antenatal, labour and postnatal care.
