We are changing the system we use for our video appointments from Attend Anywhere to Microsoft Teams and are looking for patient feedback as we make this change. Have you got a few hours spare to help us make sure we’re ready?
We’re excited about this change. MS Teams integrates with our new electronic patient record system, Epic, and MY CARE, so it’s another step in our journey to getting the most out of this system.
If you have MY CARE, you’ll know that it’s a convenient place to get all the information you need about your appointments. With this change, you’ll also be able to access your video appointment via MY CARE, making it easier than ever.
Video appointments are an important part of making our NHS fit for the future – offering patients convenience, saving you time and money and reducing the stress of travelling to your appointments, and reducing CO2 emissions too. We are determined to get it right for our patients.
We will do all we can to deliver a smooth transition. We’re looking for patients to help us do this.
What will you do as part of the patient reference group?
We want to understand how patients experience the new system and what information you need to prepare for a video appointment. Our patient reference group will:
See a demo of MS Teams for video appointments and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Help us make sure our information for patients accessing video appointments is clear.
We want to hear from you!
If you are interested in helping us and can spare a few hours over the next few weeks, please contact the engagement team at rduh.engagement@nhs.net.
