Public Meetings & Minutes

Royal Devon Annual Members’ Meeting 2025
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) on Wednesday 24 September 2025, 16.00-17.30.
The meeting will be held in the Lecture Theatre, Peninsula Medical School, RILD Building
Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Barrack Road, Exeter EX2 5DW. There will also be the option to join the meeting virtually via MS Teams.
Learn about some of the exciting things we are doing to improve patient care, and hear our Board of Directors talk about our performance over the past year and present our Annual Report and Accounts 2024/25. You will also hear from our Lead Governor about the work of the Council of Governors. There will be an opportunity for you to share your feedback and ask questions. It is a members' event, but interested public are welcome to join as a member of the Trust when booking.
The agenda can be downloaded here. The draft minutes from the 2024 meeting will be approved at the meeting.
For more information on how to submit a formal Motion to the Annual Members Meeting, or an amendment to the Rules of Procedure, please see the current version of the Members Meetings Rules of Procedure. The deadline for submission of a formal Motion is 16.00 on Wednesday 3 September. It must be signed by five members of the Trust.

If you are unable to participate in this year’s AMM you can still submit a question to the Corporate Affairs Team by 09.00 on Monday 15 September. We will reply to you with the response to your question following the meeting. The Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts will be formally presented at the meeting and have been published on our website here.

Council of Governors
The Council of Governors meets formally on a quarterly basis.
At each meeting, they receive an update from the Chief Executive, a report on the Trust's performance over the previous quarter and conduct their routine business.
The agendas and minutes of meetings can be found below. Please note that minutes are not published until they have been approved.
