Visiting Exeter Health Library

Exeter Health Library is a short walk from Wonford House in the RILD building on the Royal Devon and Exeter Wonford site. As a library member you are entitled to use the physical library to work or study. This includes our 24/7 out of hours access but we will need to issue you with an additional access card - you will be asked on the library membership form if you would like to arrange this. We have desk space available and 3 private Nook study pods should you need to make a private telephone call or attend an online event such as a meeting or training session.

However, although we have a limited number of DPT laptops they are not connected to the DPT network and we do not have a DPT Wifi connection. As an NHS employee you can register to use GovWifi but library staff will not be able to assist if you encounter connection problems because it is a nationally provided service.

Visiting North Devon District Hospital Library

The Knowledge and Library Service can be found on Level 1, North Devon District Hospital, Barnstaple. The space includes computers and bookable Pods for private space.

The Library is staffed 8:30am - 4:30pm, with access outside staffed hours 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a Royal Devon Trust staff ID swipe card.

Joining the library will give access to our services, including book loans, evidence searching and e-resources.

We are happy to send books by courier to those working in the community.

For any queries, please contact us on rduh.library-northern@nhs.net
