What is LibKey Nomad?

LibKey Nomad is a free browser extension provided by NHS England that simplifies access to full-text journal articles.

Available for Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, it works seamlessly across various platforms, including publisher websites, PubMed, and Wikipedia. 

Once installed, LibKey Nomad automatically checks if an article is available through your library subscription or open access sources, providing one-click access to PDFs or full-text links. 

If an article isn't readily available, it guides you to an article request form, where it will add the article details for you to make requesting a copy via the library much easier.

How do I install LibKey Nomad?

• Click the button which says Get LibKey Nomad Now
• Choose your browser from the options given, such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc.
• Follow the instructions for downloading the extension to your specific browser.
