What is ClinicalKey for Nursing?
ClinicalKey for Nursing provides access to nursing content including full-text books and journals, point-of-care monographs, customisable patient education handouts, drug monographs, videos, images, practice guidelines and clinical trials. Empowering nurses with trusted resources for clinical answers.
How to access ClinicalKey for Nursing
- Visit https://www.clinicalkey.com/nursing and select Login from the top right corner.
- Click on OpenAthens Login under the heading 'Log in via your institution'.
- Log in using your NHS OpenAthens username and password.
- If you don't yet have an NHS OpenAthens account, you can register for one here: https://openathens.nice.org.uk/
How to use the ClinicalKey for Nursing app
- Download the ClinicalKey app from the Apple App Store or Google Play on Android.
- Initially, the app will prompt 'What type of subscription do you have?' - select Orangizational Subscription.
- The app will then prompt 'Which product would you like to use?' - select ClinicalKey for Nursing.
- The app will prompt 'Which edition would you like to use?' - select ClinicalKey Nursing.
- Select the option to Access via your institution.
- The app will then prompt you to Find your organization. Start typing in 'Royal Devon' and select NHS in England (Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust).
- Click the button that prompts Confirm your institution.
- Sign in with your NHS OpenAthens account.
- You will then be logged-in to the app and able to use the content as needed.
