New bus shelters now installed at the RD&E (Wonford)

We'd like to say a huge thank you to the Travel HUB team at the Royal Devon for organising new bus shelters to be put in place across the RD&E Wonford!

The upgraded shelters offer increased seating and standing capacity, including a wheelchair space. The main entrance capacity has increased from six to approximately 25, while RILD and PEOC increased from three to approximately 12 - making the shelters more accessible for both the public and colleagues.

Luke Mitchell, Energy and Sustainability manager, said: “Not only will this improve experience and comfort by providing much needed protection from the British elements, but hopefully encourage those who haven’t previously travelled by bus to give it a go!”
