Search Hub Integration Support
As we continue to strive for excellence and efficiency in all our operations, we are excited to announce an important milestone in our ongoing integration efforts within the Knowledge and Library Service. On the 2nd of April, 2024, we will be implementing significant system changes aimed at enhancing our service delivery and streamlining access to resources. This initiative is part of our collaboration with the NHS Workforce, Training, and Education team, who are managing these changes externally.
What Is Happening?
- Knowledge and Library Search Hub Merger
- Integration of OpenAthens Organisational IDs
- National Healthcare database Athens Merger
Knowledge and Library Search Hubs Merger:
On Tuesday 2nd April the Knowledge and Library Search Hubs will undergo a merger. All Northern Devon colleagues will be automatically transferred to the updated Eastern Search hub, which will be renamed Royal Devon Knowledge & Library Services.
Important Actions for Northern Colleagues:
As your accounts are transferred, we regret to inform you that saved searches and search histories cannot be retained. To save your work, please download and save your searches and search histories by Thursday, 28th March.
