Useful information whilst waiting
We understand that patients on waiting lists want to know how long they can expect to wait for an appointment and/or treatment. This is very complex and can change, as we are continually reviewing and prioritising our patients by clinical urgency. We are sorry that we cannot give you an exact idea of how long you will need to wait.
My Planned Care provides average waiting times for patients across the UK. Click here to view waiting times for specialties in our hospitals.
Get support from the My Health Devon website
Healthcare providers across Devon are working together to update MyHealth, a website to help support Devon patients who have been referred by their GP, dentist or optician for a specialist opinion. We are adding more useful information to support and help you whilst you wait. In addition to specific information about health conditions and problems, you can find out more about:
- Pain and how to manage your symptoms
- Understanding and managing low mood, depression and anxiety
- Health, lifestyle and wellbeing providing free tips and advice on healthier living
- Waiting times
The information and advice here aims to support you so that you arrive for your appointment in the best possible physical and mental health.
