  • Require an overnight stay
  • Are deemed to be clinically ‘high risk’ **
  • Have an infection that is deemed by the Infection Control team to represent a significant risk that makes transfer inadvisable
  • Require a treatment that is deemed ‘high risk’ making them unsuitable for community treatment **
  • Require a bed for procedure * Eastern service only*
  • Require same day treatment
  • High care needs that require regular one to one care (to be explored on referral)

** All patients that are deemed high risk for the community will be referred onto the acute setting for delivery of treatment via the community team.
