Pathology
The Pathology Laboratory at North Devon District Hospital provides a high quality, cost-effective service to the Northern Devon Healthcare Trust, general practitioners and community hospitals within the North Devon region. All laboratories are staffed by Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered healthcare scientists, assisted by trained support staff. The information in these pages is for use by clinicians and healthcare staff. We do not offer advice to members of the public.
If you have been asked by your GP or other healthcare professional to attend the hospital for a blood test, the phlebotomy service, details are available here.

Clinical Advice from a Pathology Consultant can be obtained by contacting the relevant department during core working hours. Advice may be obtained outside of normal hours by contacting the N.D.D.H. switchboard - dial 0 from inside the hospital or 01271 322577 - and ask for the consultant you require.
