Our next members’ event is being hosted for the first time in North Devon, at Barnstaple Library on Wednesday 17 May from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
All are welcome – come along for a chance to hear about our latest and biggest developments, first-hand from the Trust’s clinical experts, and let us know what you think. At the event, you’ll be able to:
Hear about how the Trust is using digital technology to transform care and share your ideas
See how our MY CARE service, which runs on an app you download to your phone or tablet or use on a PC, provides better access to your Royal Devon patient records, including appointments, test results and the opportunity to chat with the teams delivering your care
Hear about the ‘virtual ward’, which is helping patients to leave hospital earlier
Learn more about our plans to redevelop North Devon District Hospital
You’ll also be able to meet some of the Trust’s Governors in person, to find out how they are representing your community and to tell them about the healthcare issues that matter to you.
For the full programme and further details, visit the event page. You’ll be able to take part in some elements of the event online if you can’t make it face to face.
As a foundation trust, we hold events for our members. You don't need to be a member to take part, but if you sign up we will ask if you'd like to become a member.
Membership is a simple way to support us, and you can get involved as much or as little as you like. Benefits of membership include:
Being the first to hear about our latest news, events, and opportunities to have your say
Being eligible to vote for the person you’d like to represent you on our Council of Governors, or standing for election yourself
Getting access to discounts on big name brands via Health Service Discounts
