How is the Royal Devon using AI? Find out at our Annual Members’ Meeting
27 Aug 2025
All are welcome to come along to our Annual Members’ Meeting. Learn about how we are using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve healthcare for patients, and hear about our overall achievements over the past year and plans for the future.
The event will be held at the RILD, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford) and online via Microsoft Teams, on Wednesday 24 September 2025, 2.30pm-5.30pm.
Dr Chris Mulgrew, Chief Clinical Information Officer and Consultant Nephrologist at the Royal Devon, will talk about the opportunities for using AI in healthcare and what this means for patients and staff. Our latest development will see us pilot a project that aims to save clinicians’ time spent writing notes and reduce waiting times for patients.
Our Board of Directors will then talk about our performance over the past year, share our plans for the year ahead, and present the Trust’s Annual Report & Accounts 2024/25. You will also hear from our lead governor about the work of the Council of Governors, who are elected by our members to represent our communities.
The event is free and open to all, and refreshments will be provided.
