Now patients can use MY CARE – even without an account

Patients can now access their Royal Devon care information digitally - even without a MY CARE account.
MY CARE is a service that involves downloading an app for a mobile device or signing in online on a computer. Once signed in patients can see their Royal Devon information conveniently in one place, with 24/7 access.
Now, patients will be able to correspond with their care team digitally even if they haven’t signed up for the MY CARE service. If there’s a message for them, a form to sign, or a questionnaire to complete, they will now receive a text message or email from which they can access the message – simply needing to enter their date of birth.
If communicating in this way is not suitable, an alternative method will be available, either by phone, letter or in person when you visit us.
From Wednesday 25 March we will be using this method to contact patients who are on a waiting list for an appointment or procedure.
Over 230,000 patients currently use MY CARE and when surveyed, the vast majority report having a positive experience.
