Exeter Mobility Centre

Exeter Mobility Centre

At the Exeter Mobility Centre, we provide wheelchair, orthotic and prosthetic services for both adults and children, mainly in Devon, at both our centre and across a number of locations, including specialist schools and community hospitals.

More about us

Our services include the assessment of patients with a variety of mobility needs, as well as the prescription of equipment such as wheelchairs, artificial limbs, insoles, specialist footwear, braces and splints to help maximise our service users’ mobility and independence.

We also have an in house counselling service to offer advice and support to anyone affected by limb loss and a dedicated user group run by and for our service users across all three services.

Our prosthetic and orthotic services are managed by OpCare, part of the Ability Matters Group. OpCare runs these services. Opcare is one of the largest Prosthetic, Orthotic, and Wheelchair providers in the UK. Founded in 1989, they run over 30 facilities in the UK and Ireland across all three services.
