Exeter Mobility Centre

Here at the Exeter Mobility Centre, we provide wheelchair, orthotic and prosthetic services for both adults and children, mainly in Devon, at both our centre and across a number of locations, including specialist schools and community hospitals.

This include the assessment of patients with a variety of mobility needs, as well as prescription of equipment, such as wheelchairs, artificial limbs, insoles, specialist footwear, braces and splints to help maximise mobility and independence.

We have an in-house counselling service for anyone affected by limb loss.

Our prosthetic and orthotic services are managed by OpCare, part of the Ability Matters Group. OpCare runs these services, commissioned by the Royal Devon. Opcare is one of the largest Prosthetic, Orthotic, and Wheelchair providers in the UK. Founded in 1989, they run over 30 facilities in the UK and Ireland across all three services.
