New governors elected to the Trust
Following our elections to the Council of Governors held this summer, we’re delighted to welcome a variety of new governors who have joined the Council to represent members’ interests.
Thank you to all of you who voted. The full report of voting can be viewed on the Trust website here.
Public governors: We are delighted to welcome Sandra Savill, who joins re-elected governors Richard Westlake and Gillian Greenfield in the Southern constituency. We also welcome Gail Hadley-Piggin, who was elected for the Northern constituency. All four have been elected for terms of three years.

Appointed governors: alongside Cllr Michael Mitchell, our recently appointed governor from Devon County Council, we are delighted to welcome Professor Laura Mongan, Associate Dean for Medical Education at the University of Exeter, who begins her term of office at the end of October. Both have been appointed for terms of three years.

Staff governors: We also welcome Paulo Diogo for one year and Sara Fox and Tom Quinn, both elected for terms of three years, who join the four other staff governors on the Council.
We are looking forward to working with our new and re-elected governors in the coming year. Further information about the full Council of Governors is available on our website.
