Following our election to the Council of Governors held this summer, we’re delighted to welcome nine new governors (seven public and two staff) and confirm the re-election of three current governors (two public and one staff).
Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s election, and welcome to our new governors, who will all be doing their best to represent you and your interests.

The results are:
Public – Eastern constituency (uncontested election)
- Fred Caygill elected for a three-year term
- Peter Evans elected for a two-year term
- Sarah Hughes elected for a two-year term
Public – Northern constituency
- Avril Stone re-elected for a three-year term
- Catherine Bearfield re-elected for a one-year term
- Eugene Clarke elected for a three-year term
- Lucy Beazley elected for a three-year term
- Mark Wooding elected for a two-year term
Public – Southern constituency (uncontested election)
- Tim Pavelle elected for a three-year term
Staff constituency
- Clare Stevens re-elected for a three-year term
- Will Aspinall elected for a three-year term
- Nicola Mitchell elected for a one-year term

Our new governors will commence their terms of office at our Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 1 October. We are looking forward to working with our new governors, and more information about them will be available on our website soon.
