Session 1 – How we are using digital technology to transform the care we offer (talks and Q&A)
Hear from Dr Alison Moody, and Vicki Fillingham, two of our chief information officers. They will be giving a talk on how MY CARE gives people quick access to their medical records, including test results and upcoming appointments.
Jenny Musgrave, clinical nurse manager, will be giving an overview on how virtual ward is helping patients leave hospital earlier.
Dr Stuart Kyle’s talk will focus on the work we are doing to get the most out of digital technology to improve our outpatient services.
Session 2 - Our Future Hospital talk + Q&A or digital focus group
In our second session of the day, you will have the choice of listening to a talk and Q&A about the Our Future Hospital programme, or joining our focus group for a conversation about where we go next with digital technology.
Option 1: Our Future Hospital talk
Nicola Brewer, Our Future Hospital Programme Manager, will be joined by Lindsay Stanbury, Our Future Hospital Operational Lead. Together they’ll be giving an exclusive update about the programme and our plans to redevelop North Devon District Hospital. This will see the biggest capital investment into NDDH, which is really exciting and great for our clinical services and local community.
Option 2: Digital in focus. How can the Royal Devon use digital to make patient care better?
We would like to have a group conversation about your thoughts on digital. How do you think we can make patient care better using digital technology? What challenges and opportunities do you see? Tell us what you think.
