Oxygen service

Some patients with a lung condition such as COPD  need home oxygen to help manage low oxygen levels. We have an Oxygen Service for both Eastern and Northern services. We assess and review patients who require oxygen at home, making sure they are able to enjoy life at home to the fullest.

COPD is the general term given to a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties. These problems can get worse over time and will start to affect your life. With the right treatment, however, we can help you to keep the symptoms under control.

COPD and home ventilation

COPD is the general term given to a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties. These problems can get worse over time and will start to affect your life. With the right treatment, however, we can help you to keep the symptoms under control.

In the most severe cases, we provide a 'home oxygen' service. This involves setting you up with a special oxygen cylinder or machine which you can take home and use when you need.
