Bassett Ward – Northern services
Bassett Ward is on the first floor of the Ladywell Unit at North Devon District Hospital.
This ward cares for people before and after their baby is born.
There are:
- Rooms with three beds
- Some single rooms (some have their own bathroom)
- A special overnight room for women and their partners if they need to stay together

A support helpline is available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm for non-urgent enquiries from pregnant women, birthing people and their partners.
